MICROBLADING TRAINING

Microblading & Shading Basic Course, Hands-On Training on Live Model, 2-Day, $2700 (see dates above)

Learn from Brow Bar DC founder/owner Hasti Riedlinger in this in-person and hands-on class. This microblading basics course is a 2-day full day training where students get to work on live models. The foundations of permanent make up is covered, we teach about fundamentals of balance and symmetry in facial structure and include teachings on color theory and various methods of micro-pigmentation. Assisted hands-on model session included. Certificate will be obtained following the completion of this training.

ADVANCED TRAINING

Learn from Brow Bar DC founder/owner Hasti Riedlinger. Wether it be technical skill while working on a live model or focusing on marketing and keeping your clients coming back, we will help guide and support you to advance your skills. Ask questions about how to grow your business, how to set yourself apart from other artists, how to move past work hurdles, and how to build your craft on your own specific and individual strengths. We help you perfect your skills and how to become a more efficient artist to grow your talent and stay in the industry where other artists don’t excel or advance. Certificate will be obtained following the completion of this training.

Advanced Technical Training, Hands-On with Live Model, (2-Day) $3400 - Not date specific but upon student’s request

For experienced artists only. This course is meant for artist that have fundamental knowledge of this trade and have permanent makeup experience. Brow Bar DC’s Advanced Artist Technical Training is a one day training, one-on-one or in small group depending on student’s preference. We focus on technical skill advancing and how to perfect your craft. This advanced technical training is taught by Hasti Riedlinger, founder of Brow Bar DC. Assisted hands-on model session included. Certificate will be obtained following the completion of this training.

Advanced 1-day training includes:

• brow mapping outline vs. brow patterning

• how to perfect your brow design skills

• visual asymmetry correction

• corrections/ working over previous mb or shading

• sourcing the right tools and materials

• after care problem solving

• mb & shading combo tricks

• determining what method is best for which skin types

• working on problematic skin

• working on skin after removal/laser

BROW DESIGN TRAINING

Brow Shaping Training with Live Model, 3 hours, $550 (see dates above)

+ Tint/Henna Application Course, add $150 +1 hr

Learn the foundations for all brow enhancement - this 4 hour course will teach you the fundamentals of brow design and how to optimize eyebrows for each individual face based a persons starting point. During this course we work on live models with various starting points to demonstrate individualized brow mapping and brow shaping by waxing and/or tweezing. We teach you the secrets of brow re-growth planning to help each person optimize their brows both short term and long term. Live Demo is included in this class taught by Hasti Riedlinger, founder of Brow Bar DC. Students won’t have individual models to work on during this course. Certificate will be obtained following the completion of this training.

We’ll address the following;

This training is for experienced artists that don’t need brow shaping fundamentals training. In this class we demonstrate Brow Lamination and teach the pros and cons of this method and how it can be customized to each client. This class is taught by Hasti Riedlinger, founder of Brow Bar DC. Certificate will be obtained following the completion of this training.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who can take these training?

Anyone can take the Basic Microblading Training without any prior experience. The Advanced Training require that you have knowledge of the foundations of permanent make up and have previously worked with microblading/micropigmentation or with traditional tattooing.

Do I need to do anything before taking the microblading training?

If you want to be able to work on a live model when this is included in the microblading training, we need a “OSHA Bloodborne for Body Art” Proof of Certification from you before the class start date. You can take this training online and it only takes a few minutes, you find it here:  Pro Trainings

(We also recommend that you check your local states laws and regulations for Permanent Makeup/Micropigmentation)

What is required to get a Brow Bar DC permanent makeup certificate? After you have attended and completed our traning Brow Bar DC will provide you with a Microblading Certificate of Completion on your last day of training.

Will I get a certificate? After you have attended and completed our Microblading Training Brow Bar DC will provide you with a Microblading Certificate of Completion on your last day of training. We also provide the following Certificates of Completion: Brow Lamination Artist, Brow Design Artist, Advanced Brow Colorist, Advanced Artist Certificate

Is food provided during the training? Food & snacks is provided during training: breakfast, lunch, snacks and coffee/tea/water/soda are provided during the trainings.

What materials do I get? All materials are listed in each training description above.

PAYMENT

Is there a deposit?  To hold your spot 50% of payment must be made. Full payment must have been made 7 days before class start. All deposits and payments made are non-refundable.

Can I split up the payment? Do I have to pay all at once? Yes, you can split payment, however payment must be paid 100% in full 1 week before class start date. 

What payment type is accepted? We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. You can chose to combine different payment methods, half on card, half with cash etc.

Are there payment plans or financing? Brow Bar DC does not offer payment plans for financing. We can recommend: Paypal Credit (0% interest for 6 months).

LOCATION

Where is the training location? All training will be held at Brow Bar DC’s headquarters in Georgetown D.C., address is: 1155 30th st nw, 3rd floor, Washington DC 20007.
Is there Parking? Street parking in Georgwtown is free on Sundays (you will find spots early in the morning). Saturdays we recommend you park in one of the many parking garages:

• The Foundry Parking - 1055 Thomas Jefferson St NW

Traveling to get here? Where to stay? Accomondation/hotels for students visiting from out of town: There are plenty of options in the area, hotels nearby the Brow Bar DC studio we recommend are;

• The georgetown Inn

• Georgetown suites

• The Georgetown house

Other areas within close proximity to Georgetown to look for hotels are; North Rosslyn and West End. 

Terms and conditions Training material is intellectual property of Brow Bar DC and it is not legal to redistribute the training material. We will provide you with a microblading certificate of completion on your last day of training. By completing payments, the student is forfeiting the right to dispute charges as an “unauthorized”. In order to receive a certificate of completion student must have full class attendance and participation. All deposits and payments for trainings are non-refundable.
